Happily, Catherine had a full day of firsts yesterday. She went to a movie for the first time since the film festival in September, ate her first bag of popcorn and went to the grocery store on her own. I am glad Cathy enjoyed herself a little before starting round 3 of chemo today. Lots of waiting today which was very tiring. Round 4 begins on March 11th shortly after Catherine's birthday celebrations. CC is pictured here with one of her doggie friends in one of her favourite places, "The Meadow" in Cobourg.

Pat and I have seen The Hurt Locker...excellent, The Blind Side, quite good, quite Hollywood style, and Avatar 3D....so pretty in parts and the effects were fabulous but too much gratuitous bullying and noise for me, anyway.....this is my movie review for Tues. Feb. 16, 2010.

Thinking of you ....hoping that round 3 is over and went well. Wish I could be there in TO with you and Hil - would be great to watch the academy awards together. I will be watching them (in Kirkland) thinking of you eating popcorn- yeah!!!
