Change of Plans

CC is not undergoing a fourth round of chemotherapy after all. There has been a change of course in her treatment, which will see her taking oral chemotherapy in a few weeks. In the meantime, she has had a setback and is in the hospital for a few days.  She will be undergoing radiation therapy for the next 10 days, although it is uncertain for how long she will be in the hospital. She is stable and comfortable and hooked up with TV, magazines and her new iPod.

Ready for a change of scenery...

Catherine enjoyed the fabulous birthday weather yesterday and the good wishes of friends and family. Here she is in one of her more footloose and fancy-free moments (note the nice socks! ).

Just a quick update on the birthday girl's day. Rumour has it she is actually out at a movie and then will be coming home to load up her new iPod Touch with music this evening. Looking forward to details!

And the Oscar goes to....the Birthday Girl!

It was a night of celebration last night - in honour of the Oscars and CC's upcoming birthday. With a red carpet, blow-up Oscars and a marquee announcing CC's latest pic ("Constant Contact"), King Street was transformed into Hollywood Boulevard. CC was in great spirits, despite not winning the Oscar trivia contest (she swears she will redeem herself with her Oscar ballot tonight) - and a good time was had by all.
